Computers at Work focuses on actual computer skills that prepare users for office jobs. The software includes Order Processing and Data Entry which challenge students to work independently for an hour or more while learning real office procedures. As skills improve, users progress from simple tasks to jobs common in today's workplace entering orders, checking inventories, and determining payment methods.
The Data Entry module lets students enter information from printed or on-screen account cards. There are three difficulty levels for Data Entry, beginning with just one active field and progressing to real-life data entry skills.
The Order Processing module includes shipping, billing, payment, and inventory. There are three difficulty levels for the Order Processing module.
Multiple students can be added. Student results and time usage for each session are recorded, and long-term performance is tabulated.
The Computers at Work web-based version is a one or three-year subscription for up to 20 students. Teachers can manage student access to apps, view results, and monitor student usage. Students can log directly into to the app or from a student desktop launch page.
Computers at Work is available for download on the App Store and Google Play Store. You can also purchase directly from us and here's how it works: The App Store has both a free Lite version and full-featured version of Computers at Work. The Google Play Store only has the Lite version at this time. The free apps have an in-app purchase option to upgrade to the full version. If you purchase the app through Attainment, we will provide an Access Code so you can convert the Lite version to the full-featured version. We can not provide refunds for purchases made on the App Store or Google Play Store or from in-app purchases.
